• This monster girl is based on a race of ambulatory fungus creatures from Dungeons & Dragons.
• She does not wear clothes, her privates being covered by semi-transparent hyphae. (source: Making of Myconid article on Patreon).
• The frills on her body are edible, do not feel pain, and regrow after some time if eaten. The frills on her arms are especially delicious. (source: Making of Myconid article on Patreon).
• Myconids usually have small bodies compared to the typically large and voluptuous Matango, likely as a consequence of how active they are. However, they still often have large breasts, perhaps as a shock absorber for their habit of launching themselves at men, or to make a man more comfortable when they cling to him. • There are many varieties of Matango and Myconid that look like different kinds of mushrooms (albeit, not every kind of real world mushroom exists in the encylopedia world), including a Matango variant that looks like the Undead Grey Lamentation Mushroom and turns men who inhale the spores into undead.
