Trivia[edit | edit source]

Cursed swords can get pregnant, and they give birth to fairly normal-looking children. However, as the child grows she will develop the sword and chitin armor over time as it sort of grows out of her body. This is at least in part due to how uncomfortable giving birth to a armored baby would be. The armor growth/corruption on a woman's body from a cursed sword begins with the hand and extends from there over time (source: Response to questions on the "Making of" cursed sword article on Enty).
Like with the mershark's bite, the essence that leaks out from wounds by a cursed sword is colored crimson, making for a violent look even though no one is actually hurt. (source: Enty info article for the making of the cursed sword profile).

The sword is part of their body and can't be removed, but it can turn into a gauntlet form so it won't interfere during sex.

The sword cannot parasitically infest a man unless he has the qualities to become an alp. When a man uses the sword the desire to cut isn't as strong as in the case of a woman, but there is an additional function of searching for the woman the man is fond of and prioritizing cutting her.

A man can't fuse with it, so eventually maybe his wife or a potential wife will be drawn to the sword and pick it up.

There are Japanese-style cursed swords too. Kenkou may release them in the future as a subspecies.
