• The dark object on a kraken's head is part of her body, but she can hide it using her mana (source: Personal communication with Kenkou).
• Krakens are mysterious beings. Part of their "clothing" is actually a membrane their body grows, and part of it is real clothes they wear. But it is not clear where one ends and the other begins. (source: Patreon PM)
• Krakens can massively increase the size and length of their tentacles, this is how they wrap them around ships while their humanoid body stays the same size. They can keep a ship in one piece while dragging it down by applying to the ship a field of protective mana that is similar to what is used on a man during sex to keep from harming him.
