Hornet

A species of bee that is the largest of all the insectoid races. Like the other types of bee, hornets live in nests centered around a queen bee.
Extremely ferocious, the spend their days flying around in search of game. When they sight their prey, they use the paralytic venom painted on their spears to immobilize the victim, then bring it back to the nest.
Hornets produce an aphrodisiac venom within their bodies that can induce rut in human men. Under its influence, they will find the hornets completely irresistible. When a hornet finds a man, she will first incapacitate him with the paralytic venom, then use her abdominal stinger to inject the aphrodisiac venom. Once it takes effect, she will have sex with him until she is satisfied. Afterwards, she will take her captive back to the nest as a candidate consort for the queen. Rejected candidates become the property of the hornets that brought them in. Such a slave is unlikely to be released; he will probably spend the rest of his days being used to satisfy his owner’s lusts.
Hornets get along poorly with their honeybee cousins. Disputes between the two races, usually over men, are common.
