The Ant Arachne is a small insect type monster from the Arachne family that bears a remarkable resemblance to the Giant Ant. This mimicry serves to fool the Giant Ants into thinking that the Ant Arachne is one of their own kind. The Arachne take advantage of this by mixing in with Giant Ant groups and moving into their nests. However, despite their resemblance to the Giant Ants, their disposition is very different, being quite ferocious in nature, and being exposed to all of the pheromones present in Giant Ant nests makes them highly aroused and extremely lustful.
The Ant Arachne essentially never leave the Giant Ant’s nest, so it’s extremely rare to encounter one above ground. When Giant Ants bring men back into their nests (reference the Giant Ant page), the Arachne will steal some of the men to take back to their own beds. Unlike the Giant Ants, though, they do not work during the day, and will instead, after seizing a man, copulate in their bed place all day and all night long.
