As opposed to most Beastmen mamono, a Youko's Mamono Mana generally creates a Dark Mamono Realm as opposed to a Bright Green one.
In his notes on the jinko profile, Kenkou noted that both they and the youko race originated in the Mist Continent before spreading to the main region of the encyclopedia.
