==Trivia==
*Possibly based on [http://dragonquest.wikia.com/wiki/King_slime King Slime] from the Dragon Quest series.
*Other types of slime can be born with the mutation that allows them to become their own type of queen slime, but for higher rank slime races this is very rare (source: Kenkou’s Q and A topic).
*Slimes tend to only realize they have the queen slime mutation when they first try to divide and discover they cannot fully do so. (source: Kenkou's 2015 Ask.fm page).
*Regarding how their divisions function, they are normally tethered by slime to the main body. However, if this line is broken they can continue to function independently until they run out of mana, so they won't collapse immediately. When empowered by their husband's semen they can function for longer. However, there is a range limit and if a disconnected slime exceeds this limit (or runs out of mana before being reconnected) then she will collapse into a lifeless puddle of just slime. However, the division is not "dead" and will revive back at the main body with full memory of what transpired. How far a disconnected division can go from the main body is dependent on the strength of the individual. (source: Personal communication with Kenkou).
