* For some reason, many kelpies enjoy singing, and can present themselves rather like divas. Due to this and the graceful way they run through water, they are sometimes used as motif in stage performances and they themselves may be quite good at such dancing and performing as well. The husbands also don't warn people, and indeed often can't shake the image of a "pure girl" they have in their heads regarding her even after being one-sidedly ravished by their kelpie wife. There are no photographs or videos for people to observe, and people who know of kelpies usually have only read about them or seen artistic renditions.
