* This monster is named for the deity of the same name from the Greater Cthulhu Mythos, the deity was created by Clark Ashton Smith, a literary friend of H.P. Lovecraft. Atlach-Nacha first appeared in Ashton Smith's short story The Seven Geases(1934)<ref>[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu_Mythos_deities Clark Ashton Smith deities]</ref>
* They are a race with a high proportion of loli individuals, but mature-looking ones also exist (source: Kenkou tweet in answer to a question on if there were sexy mature atlach-nacha with large breasts).
* Regarding the anatomy of the transformed husband, he places his mate not in a mouth but in a "reproductive pouch" (the tentacles in front of him are not his tongue). His real mouth is hidden behind the atlach-nacha's back, above the pouch. On the left and right side of her waist are the husband's red fangs, while the thin purple part surrounding the tentacles is his chin.
