*This [[Monster Girls|Monster girl]] is based on the [[Wikipedia:Alraune|Alraune]] (German for ''Mandrake''), from a novel by German writer [[:Wikipedia:Hanns Heinz Ewers|Hanns Heinz Ewers]] published in 1911. It is also the name of the female lead character.
*Members of the alraune family can pull up the roots of their flowers if they want/need to move about (source: KC’s notes on the barometz).

*Sexual experiences cause an alraune to have her nectar "ripen" which enhances all its normal effects.
